Just a follow up for those that are coming to the workshop this weekend. I look forward to seeing all of you. The Writing Group Workshop runs on both Saturday and Sunday from 9 to 5 pm in WPH B49. You can come part of the day each day or just one day. You can join an existing group or create a new group or work on your own. You can come to any weekend workshop- you are not obligated to attend all of them. When you do come, bring your laptop to work on your dissertation. You may want to bring a headset if you want to listen to music as you work or ear plugs. Bring your calendar to plan writing dates for yourself and with others or review dates for drafts.
Students are also encouraged to meet with their writing advisor monthly for discussion and individual updates and to schedule any review dates for drafts. Weekend workshops will be offered monthly, the workshops provide an opportunity to write and have an advisor available to assist with questions regarding the dissertation process.
