Dear Cohorts of 2003, 2006, and 2009,
Please review the following reminders and important deadlines:
1) Please don’t forget to RSVP (to me) for the December 5th Dissertation Submission Workshop by November 28th! Learn the ins and outs of preparing to defend and submit your dissertation to the Graduate School, ask your burning questions to the Financial Aid Office, and win a prize!
2) If you were hoping to apply for any of the APRISE March Study Tours, you are in luck! The APRISE (Asia Pacific Rim International Study Experience) application deadline has been extended to December 2, 2011. Please submit your Study Tour applications and Fellowship applications online on the APRISE website: http://www.uscrossier.org/blogs/abroad/study-tour-application/. Please contact Dr. Jing Li at jingli@usc.edu or Dr. Elizabeth Jordan at ejordan@usc.edu if you have any further questions!
3) The last official day of classes for Fall semester is December 14, 2011. Winter recess is from December 15, 2011 – January 8, 2012. If you haven’t scheduled your Qualifying Exam or your dissertation defense, please contact Margaret Cyrus at cyrus@usc.edu or 213-740-9323 to reserve a room in WPH. For students who need to complete their Qualifying Exam, the last day to drop EDUC 791 and add EDUC 794a for Spring 2012 is Friday, January 27, 2012.
4) Thank you to those of you who have already submitted your Permit to Enroll form(s) for Spring 2012. If you haven’t already, please send me your respective Permit to Enroll form(s) so we can get you registered for the Spring Semester by the January 6, 2012 deadline!
5) The Ed.D. Program Office will be closed on November 24 – 25th for Thanksgiving and December 26, 2011 – January 2, 2012 for Winter Recess.
