Important Library Update

Fall 2021 As of August 23, the libraries are open for in-person study, research help, checking out materials, and many other library services. Some libraries are closed for construction. Check library hours on the library website.  Masks are required in library spaces. Faculty, staff, students, and visitors must complete wellness assessments through Trojan Check. Chat or email services with a librarian are available through Ask A Librarian.  USC Libraries' Research Guides provide subject or topic-specific online resources including recommended article databases.  All library resources and information can be accessed through the home page of USC Libraries. Weekly COVID-19 vaccination on campus (Week of August 16-20)

COVID-19 vaccinations are available this week at the Lyon Center (2^nd floor) on the UPC campus, as follows:

• MONDAY, AUG. 16 - FRIDAY, AUG. 20, 2021 (8 am – 4 pm)

Note: If you have had a vaccine within the past 14 days; or if you a currently recovering from COVID-19, you should not take a vaccination appointment at this time.

Walk-ins will be accommodated between 9 am – 2 pm daily during clinic days.

KCLC Welcome Back Events and Resources

Are you looking for assistance on how to best adjust to the return to campus, improve your social skills, cultivate time management skills, and alleviate stress? Come to our workshops and Drop-in hours hosted by the USC Kortschak Center for Learning and Creativity. No reservation or appointment is required for our general workshops and drop-ins.

KCLC will be hosting Welcome Week workshops on Returning to Campus and Time Management. Starting in September, the workshops will have a weekly theme of time management, reading strategies, stress management or test-taking. The workshops will be interactive with great tips and resources.

We are also piloting a new in-person workshop series titled, “Back to SChool Connections” where you can practice communication skills that can help you succeed as a Trojan both in and out of the classroom. This workshop will require a reservation.

The Drop-in hours, where you can meet with an academic coach to discuss learning strategies will start the second full week of the semester Monday-Friday. Please note: these may be held in a group format depending on staff availability and demand.
